Costa Rei – Our Sea<\/h2>\n

The sea of \u200b\u200bCosta Rei is so evocative that it manages to create magical atmospheres and thrilling emotions. <\/span><\/p>\n

The town of Monte Nai represents the heart of Costa Rei and rises approximately 4 meters above sea level. <\/span><\/p>\n

It is located 15 km from Villasimius, a welcoming and relaxing place with a fabulous beach and splendid sea!<\/span><\/p>\n

The Monte Nai locality in Costa Rei extends for about 10 km, from Porto Pirastu to Cala Sinzias, and its center is located at the foot of Monte Nai (200 m) which also gives its name to the surrounding area. <\/span><\/p>\n

The urban agglomeration is divided into the areas of Sa Perda Niedda, Sa Murta (centre), Le Ginestre, Gli Asfodeli, I Ginepri (south), Turagri, Rei Marina and Rei Plaia (north). <\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to the authenticity of the beaches, which are mostly free, in Costa Rei there are picturesque coves and above all a crystal clear and uncontaminated sea. <\/span><\/p>\n

In 2009, the town was awarded the “Travel blogger award” by the prestigious travel guide publishing house “Lonely Planet”, which included Costa Rei among the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. <\/span><\/p>\n

On the Costa Rei beach you can admire the Scoglio di Peppino, in the Santa Giusta area, a low and wide rock visited by tourists all year round. <\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to a legend, this enchanting place has become the destination for all lovers who, touching the sea water, swear eternal love on the rock.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are many excursions offered by local operators, one of which we highly recommend is that of the Marine Protected Area of \u200b\u200bVillasimius where you can enjoy the charm of the cabbage island, immerse yourself in the splendid crystal clear waters and admire a unique and breathtaking show! <\/span><\/p>\n

Another excursion that you cannot miss is the one to the Island of Serpentara, a natural paradise that is also part of the Marine Protected Area of \u200b\u200bVillasimius. <\/span><\/p>\n

During the excursions you can also visit some coves, such as Cala Pira with its beautiful seventeenth-century Spanish tower and the beautiful Caletta delle Piscine which can only be reached by boat.<\/span><\/p>\n
